Salary range: GBP38,040 - GBP40,887 p.a. inc.
Hours of work: 36 hours per week

Brent Housing Management Service is leading the way in transforming council services. We are aiming to deliver contemporary, digital and seamless services which really work for our customers. We are pushing forward fast to improve services by providing our staff with the tools they need to deliver and you can be part of the exciting change programme.
As a Quality Assurance Officer you will be accountable for the inspection of and quality assurance of your assigned portfolio. These could be in either construction, engineering or compliance services based on your experience.
We are currently looking to fill positions for each of these portfolios.
Your role will include providing advice, surveys, schedules, reports, instructions and progress monitoring of all works projects and programmes within your portfolio.
You will be responsible for appropriate project and programme qualitative outcomes with regard to: initial customer relationship management, works delivery, quality of work, cost and value of work and post customer and stakeholder satisfaction
We are looking for someone with HNC, BTEC or higher qualification in a building, engineering or compliance discipline or relevant experience and evidence of continuing professional development.
You will have experience of carrying out inspections and quality assurance in building and engineering services including, construction, major investment work, repairs and maintenance, or cyclical works and compliance inspection and testing regimes.
You must have proven experience of effectively monitoring works projects and programmes to achieve desired outcomes considering quality, time and cost measures
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and evaluate a wide range of options and be able to think strategically and contribute to the overall success of the business
- Personally effective with excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and co-ordinate own workload, prioritise tasks and be self-motivating with the ability to work on own initiative, or within a team
