Graduate Officer - ICT Infrastructure
This is an exciting time for local authorities as we seek to deliver both ever-improving services for residents and value for money.
A career in Local Government offers some of the toughest and most intellectually stimulating challenges as we provide services that affect thousands of lives in many different ways.
Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council is once again seeking to recruit talented graduates to our range of Graduate Programmes. Each of the schemes offers a unique opportunity to learn new skills, develop professionally and start a career in community-based public service.
ICT (Information & Communication Technology) is at the forefront of leading a transformation change agenda for the Council and its residents in providing new and innovative ways of providing services through the use of technology.
Working alongside the ICT senior management team, the Graduate Officer will help research, implement and deliver Council wide transformation services that form part of the Council's emerging Digital Strategy.
This will include providing technical solutions for more agile and smarter ways of working, improving business process through the use of technology, technical 'trouble shooting' and providing advice on innovative ways of working, whilst supporting the Council's key ICT infrastructure to enable change.
If you are expecting to gain a 2:2 degree or above in a related discipline, or have been in the workplace since gaining your degree, and have the drive and passion to help us meet a huge range of responsibilities then you could apply to be part of our Graduate Programme.
