Youth Justice Officer - Complex Casework & Court Reporting

Southend-on-Sea City Council is seeking a full-time, permanent Youth Justice Officer to deliver a needs-led service within the Youth Justice Service (YJS) for children, young people and families, to prevent offending and re-offending.

You will manage a caseload of complex cases, work in courts representing young people, complete high-quality assessments and pre-sentence reports, and contribute to intervention planning and risk management.
