This is an exciting opportunity to join the County CAMHS Children Looked After and Adoption Team as a team manager part time starting ideally in June 2026. The role is a job share and to work alternate Wednesday and each Thursday and Friday. The team is jointly commissioned by Nottinghamshire County Council and Nottinghamshire NHS Trust.
This multi-disciplinary team is commissioned to specifically work with children and young people who are looked after and living away from their birth parents, in the care of Nottinghamshire Children's Services or other local authorities. These children and young people may be living with foster carers or living in residential care. The team also offers specialist consultation and support to children/young people who have been adopted, and their families.
The team offers a range of therapeutic interventions, these include consultations with those professionals supporting the young person, direct assessment and direct work with children, medication reviews, and training for carers and professionals.
You will be providing supervision to a range of specialist workers within the multi-disciplinary team; and will have oversight of all casework within the team.
You need to be social work qualified; and have significant experience within the service area, including post-qualification experience in statutory childcare social work
This is a Countywide service which will involve home and office working, whilst offering services within clinics and homes.
