You will be joining at an exciting time, developing crisis cafe activity across the boroughs of Richmond and Kingston. The services aim to prevent crisis and develop recovery and resilience in people who access the service.
Richmond Borough Mind is a vibrant local charity that has been supporting and providing services for adults affected by mental health problems and their carers for over 60 years.
Alongside this you will support the Wellbeing Centre, a long-established referral-only service for adults, to respond to the changing needs in the local environment. Satellite projects, Mind n' Mortlake and the Positive Living Group, and other related services will also benefit from your ability to build and demonstrate the impact of these services. You will bring experience of working collaboratively in a multi-agency environment.
A strong leader, you will be a proactive member of RBMind's management team, helping to implement the strategic aims of the organisation including change management processes when necessary. You will have a flexible and enthusiastic approach and enjoy problem-solving and a busy environment.
Staff benefits include 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays and a pension offering 4-5% matched employer contribution. You may need to work flexibly over some evenings and weekend days, particularly over the initial months of the development and launch of the crisis cafe service.
