Location: Gateway Plaza, Barnsley

Salary: £95,000

As Service Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across adult social care and health. You will be working with committed and motivated staff, providers who are striving to be the best they can be and vibrant communities keen to be part of the solutions. Building upon our excellent reputation we are looking for someone who not only has a sound knowledge of adult social care but also has the drive and enthusiasm to keep developing creative solutions to some of the wicked problems we all face.

Our partnerships matter to us so working alongside the CCG, health providers and many others will be critical to achieving sustainable outcomes and to continue to meet the financial challenges ahead. 

You need to be a qualified social work professional with experience in adult social care. You should be able to demonstrate experience of operating at a senior level, bring strong leadership, strategic focus alongside the ability to think creatively. You will also impress with your strong track record of successful partnership working and the ability to deliver exceptional outcomes for and with people who access adult social care.
