Senior Project Manager


Applications are invited for the role of Senior Project Manager working within the Estates Transformation Team. This is a key role in the implementation of the Estate Strategy as we initiate the transformation and re-shaping of our Estate across Scotland, and as it fundamentally shifts from a predominantly "standalone" Estate to one that is largely co-located with our partners.

The post holders will report to the Programme Manager (Estates Transformation) and will project manage a regional portfolio of significant Estate Transformation projects that set out to build and strengthen collaboration with partners through co-location and greater service integration, aligning to the Estate Strategy vision and principles. The projects will comprise a range of small/medium/large new co-locations with our partners, which could involve building modifications, refurbishments or significant new build projects.


You will be education to degree level or equivalent with substantial experience at management level within a relevant field. You will hold relevant professional qualifications, i.e. MRICS. You will have substantial relevant postgraduate experience, including extensive knowledge and experience of property/construction contract and cost management and have significant management experience in a relevant estates/property-related discipline. In the absence of formal professional qualifications, relevant and extensive work experience is required in order to support familiarisation and on the job training for the role.

A driving licence is essential for this role. The majority of the projects for this role will be based within the North of Scotland. The specific location can be flexible within the northern region.

These full time posts are permanent and will require Standard Recruitment Vetting.You will work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
