We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and customer care skills to assist the Asset Management team in managing the council's diverse land and property portfolio. You will work in a constructive team environment to maximise the potential of the council's assets and ensure they continually meet the high standards expected by the Council, public and tenants.
You will need to be a motivated officer who has the capability to shape the needs and aspirations of the Council's Asset Management Plan, which includes a commercial property portfolio, public open space, cemeteries and car parks and deliver a range of asset related projects, enhance existing asset management regimes and ensure the council complies with current building management legislation.
To satisfy the higher grade, the stated skills and experience on the person specification must be demonstrated by the candidate to the hiring manager's satisfaction before progression. Training in Construction, Design and Management Regulations, as well as Building Management legislation will be provided, if required.
