About the Role
We are reshaping the regulation of the private rented sector across a portfolio of more than 30,000 homes. This entry level role focuses on assessing, validating and determining property licensing applications, supporting a dedicated team in meeting regulatory and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess property licensing applications for compliance with statutory and council policy.
- Validate applicant information and gather required evidence from residents, landlords and agents.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the licensing system.
- Work independently to manage workload, meet performance targets and prioritise tasks.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and IT skills.
- Organised, proactive and self driven with the ability to work independently.
- Commitment to improving housing standards and delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience or training in housing, property licensing or a related field is advantageous.
