We have replaced our whole street lighting stock with modern energy-saving lanterns controlled by a Central Management System. We are looking for a Lighting Officer who can provide expert technical support for the maintenance of this infrastructure, including identifying electrical faults, and instructing & monitoring contractors.
You will be experienced in identifying street lighting faults and instructing repairs. You can advise on electrical testing requirements, and co-ordinate the work carried out by street lighting contractors. You must have a high level of analytical skills and the ability to apply them and develop practical action plans and processes. You should have significant experience in contract monitoring and data analysis; and hold a relevant electrical qualification or have equivalent experience to NVQ standard.
