We are looking to recruit an outstanding financial professional to join us as our head of accountancy. Our new financial services structure supports the Councils ambition to excel in everything it does and lead the way in providing the best services as part of our outcomes approach to service delivery and finance, known as Future Ealing.
As our new head of accountancy, not only will you possess strong technical skills developed from your experience, ideally in a local authority finance environment, you will complement these with the pragmatism and political astuteness this role requires. You will relish the opportunity to work collaboratively with the chief finance officer, directors and executive directors across the Council in a senior leadership capacity.
Reporting directly to the chief finance officer (s151), this role will be ideal for an ambitious and talented candidate who can work strategically at a consistently high level to help deliver our financial vision.
You will be a confident and inspirational leader who exemplifies effective relationship management and is committed to motivating and coaching teams to deliver excellent services and customer focus.
