Following on from a period of successful R&D; and our well established work with and for schools; Travelling Light are developing a new offer for primary schools and families, ready for touring.

The Forest Door will be a new high quality theatre offer for primary aged children, incorporating performance, interactive in classroom activities, support and resources for teachers and families.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging professional from a participation background to develop skills in directing and gain insights into how to make theatre for a specialist age group (5 11).

As the Facilitator you will help devise and facilitate in classroom and wrap around activities to work in parallel with the performance. You will tour with the show and lead sessions.

Fee: £2750
Dates: Rehearsals 2 - 21 February 2026
Touring: 23 February - 7 March 2026
