If so, come and join us as an Executive Support Officer within the Office of the Chief Executive where you will be supporting the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of the Council, supporting services that make a difference to our staff and residents.

You will work closely with the Chief Executive and Strategic Directors providing a unique opportunity to support the Council's strategic leadership and decision-making across the organisation.

Whatyou'llbe doing

  • Be the first point of contact into the department
  • Provide high quality executive support to senior leaders
  • Manage complexdiarieswith confidence
  • Produceaccurate, professional minutes for strategic meetings
  • Communicate effectively with leaders, executivemembers,and colleagues across the council
  • Support meetings,includeplanning and co-ordination across the department

Whilst diary management and meeting support form the core of the role,you willalso work with the wider Office of the Chief Executive's Team. This will give you the opportunityto understand and participate in corporate council functions and governanceprocesses.

Working arrangements

We offer a hybrid working arrangement of 80% office-based and 20% home-based working, subject to service requirements. New starters will be required to complete a six-month probationary period working full-time in the office prior to starting hybrid working.

This is a full time,37-hourrole,Monday - Friday.
