Reporting to the Corporate Director, Public Health and Wellbeing you will help us reduce inequality in Luton and improve the health and wellbeing of those who live here. You will also commission services for vulnerable adults - everything from mental health promotion and workplace health, to safeguarding and nursing homes.

This is a broad, exciting and innovative role that will offer an ambitious Public Health Consultant the opportunity to make a real impact as a member of our Senior Management Team. You will make an active contribution to the Council's strategic plans and policies, whilst motivating staff to deliver high levels of performance and develop to their full potential. You will also operate with a team of professionals across Luton CCG to support the NHS in their commissioning and preventative work.
