Communications Account Manager - Kingston upon Thames
GBP39,438 per annum for 36 hours per week based at County Hall. This position is based inside one of our main area offices, click HERE to see a 360 degree view of the building and surrounding area along with a view of the reception. We are looking to relocate back into the county by 2020 .

About the role
With our rapid improvement journey in full swing and a senior management team with an appetite to do things differently we need our Communications team to be the heartbeat of the council in supporting delivery of our Community Vision 2030. Andrea Newman, our newly appointed Director of Communications is looking to build a team that is agile and creative in its thinking and delivers high quality internal and external communications. To support this we are looking to recruit to the following:
Communications Account Manager
You will play a key role in supporting the new Director of Communications and her vision for transforming external communications and engagement. You will need to have experience of managing high profile media campaigns as well as demonstrate your ability to think differently and land complex messages which have impact. You will be responsible for developing a high quality communications service that promotes the needs of the individual services of the council while supporting the overall objectives of the council. You will be confident communicating your ideas appropriately at all levels of the organisations that we engage with.
