Head of Commissioning- Adult Social Care

You will be responsible for leading a small team of specialist commissioners to develop and deliver our county wide approach to market management, working with internal and external stakeholders, residents and providers to understand the strengths and weaknesses in the supply and demand for resources. You will also lead and deliver a programme of commissioning (including procurement activity) and transformation projects, providing ownership, leadership and expertise across the commissioning cycle to ensure that high quality services, desired outcomes and improved efficiencies are achieved.
You will have the right experience and flexibility to lead and develop health and social care with an integrated commissioning approach. You will be able to demonstrate experience and skills in commissioning, stakeholder management and programme management. You will bring a positive, flexible and innovative approach supporting the Assistant Director to deliver change in a challenging environment.
