Danson Park Watersports Centre is a busy lake based multi activity centre set in a picturesque 180 acre park. Currently offering sailing, kayaking, bell boating and public hire activities with expansions planned into the land based outdoor activities market. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Manager to join our friendly expanding team.
We are looking for a Manager who is Senior Sailing instructor qualified to be the centres Chief Instructor and lead a team of instructors in the delivery of sports coaching to a range of adult and youth customers taking part in structured courses and the operation of the water sports centre.
You will have experience of managing a water sports centre offering a range of activities, a good understanding and experience of the requirements of the RYA training Centre status and Adventurous Activities Licence , as well as a good understanding and application of health and safety issues related to a watersports facility and significant experience of working with a variety of groups including young people and children, adults and key target groups such as women or those with disabilities
You will have the ability to ensure that environmental risks arising from the lake and surrounding area are monitored and acted on in line with operating protocols and procedures.
Applicants must have a flexible approach to working hours, an excellent ability to communicate and work as a team.
