Location: Oakleigh Depot, Oakleigh Road South, London N11 1HJ
Salary: £67,626.00 - £75,949.00 Per Annum

As a member of the Street Scene Leadership team, the post holder is required to work collaboratively develop practical responses to key challenges facing the authority, promote innovation and creativity in service provision.
A crucial requirement of this post is the need to interpret, analyse and own the development of strategic solutions to complex, cross-cutting policy challenges. Especially those to manage demand for services across the Borough. Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high quality outcomes, with a clear ability to think strategically and the ability to work across team boundaries during times of increased pressure
The Head of Service is responsible for supporting the delivery of front-line services, through the effective managements of data systems, administration, customer support, service change, staff and customer engagement, and demand management across Street Scene. Including:
- Recycling and Waste
- Street Cleansing
- Ground Maintenance
- Commercial Development
- Fleet Maintenance
- Passenger Transport
The role leads the development and delivery of improvement activities and Quality Management System for Street Scene. It works with a range of internal and external partners to achieve effective outcomes for residents of Barnet.
