PO5: Salary GBP44,373 pa rising in annual increments to GBP47,274 pa incl LW

This is an exciting opportunity to join The Parking & Highways Enforcement team; a service that is passionate about customer service and in delivering meaningful improvements to the way we deliver key council services.

Do you have experience of managing a team of officers responsible for the management of multi-million-pound contracts? Do you have experience in the delivery of Enforcement Services in a commercial environment? Can you build positive relationships with suppliers and work with them to maximise service delivery? Can you lead on the procurement exercises? If so this will be the role for you.

Lambeth Parking & Enforcement Services is seeking an experienced Contract Manager who will lead a team of officers who are responsible for the management and procurement of a wide range of service delivery contracts, from on-street enforcement and back office IT systems, to printing services and on-street parking payment systems.

The Supplier Relationship Manager will actively lead in the day-to-day relationships and contract management of all enforcement related contracts, supporting suppliers to enable them to meet the required contractual outputs. You will be able to think outside of the box and will constantly look at ways to develop service delivery methods and procedures by keeping up to date with industry improvements, developing these into strategic service improvement plans.

An excellent communicator, you will have a commercial outlook and have the ability to maximise contract outputs. You will have the ability to resolve contractual issues quickly and professionally, and to build effective relationships with suppliers

A proven procurement professional, you will have experience of and knowledge of the procurement process with the ability to maximise savings and value for money during procurement exercises.
