Assistant Director - High House Production
High House Production Park (HHPP) is a world class centre for production in the creative industries and currently includes The Royal Opera House Bob and Tamar Manoukian Production Workshop and Costume Store, the National College for the Creative Industries, ACME Artists Studios Complex and converted barns used as event venues.
HHPP is at the centre of the emerging Thames Estuary Production Corridor and next to a GBP1billion regeneration scheme in Purfleet which features proposals for a state-of-the-art media village complex. HHPP and Purfleet as a whole has superb potential for further exciting developments.
The Assistant Director for HHPP will be responsible for realising and delivering on the full potential this exciting creative centre has to offer but driving the development of the remaining sites to complete the production park. The role will involve identifying opportunities for new development, facilitating investment packages, negotiating development agreements and driving projects forward to completion.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in expanding this flagship world-class centre for cultural production. Working closely with the HHPP Board, the Assistant Director will create effective relationships with leaders in local government and the cultural industries.
The successful candidate will be familiar with the sector, should have a proven track record in the development of new facilities for cultural industries and should be able to demonstrate the drive, ambition, tenacity and personality to see development through.
