Hospital Team Manager
We currently have the opportunity for a team manager to join and lead the hospital social care team based at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon
The Great Western Hospital team is a dedicated social care team focusing on supporting timely hospital discharges and avoiding unnecessary hospital delays.
About the role
As a team manager, you will provide leadership and operational management to the hospital social care team, which will include leading on the implementation of the Care Act and Better Care Plan within the locality. You will need to be a confident and experienced leader, who can inspire and support the team through change and can demonstrate excellent partnership working with external partners.
With a recognised and relevant professional social care of health qualification (degree/diploma in Social Work or equivalent) you will also need to be a registered member of HCPC/NMC.
A minimum of 2 years management/supervisory experience is required, along with expert knowledge of Social Care legislation and the wider context of government policy.
Interview will take place on 8th February 2019.
