Human Resources and Health & Safety Manager
Age UK Cambridgeshire & Peterborough is an independent charitable organisation which exists to improve the quality of life for older people in the county. We currently employ approximately 200 people across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. A large percentage of these are employed on variable hours' contracts. We are looking for an experienced Human Resources and Health &Safety Manager, a CIPD qualification or equivalent working experience is essential. This is a stand-alone role which will be responsible for supporting other functions in managing performance, absence, grievance and disciplinary issues; managing all aspects of recruitment, including overseeing the DBS checks operations and providing induction training; and updating and reviewing the organisations policies and procedures. The post-holder will also be responsible for all aspects of H&S across all sites from which the organisation operates.
