We are seeking to recruit an Intelligence and Analysis Officer in the Performance and Intelligence Unit, Care and Support Commissioning. You will have proven experience of working in health and/or social care performance and intelligence functions and will be responsible for complex data analysis and playing a pivotal role in ensuring that the commissioning of care and support services is robustly needs-led.

The Team

Come and join our exciting Performance Intelligence Unit based in Care and Support Commissioning (Adults and Children's) in the People and Resilience service block at the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham.

The Unit comprises of a Systems team responsible for the implementation and development of IT social care databases (Liquidlogic) and a performance intelligence team responsible for the performance management and outcome framework across children and adults social care, public heath, youth offending and education and a rolling programme of needs assessments to inform the new adults and children's commissioning teams.

We comprise of 17 staff in the Unit led by the Head of Performance and Intelligence and two principal managers managing the two teams. We are a team of specialists that use our skills to understand and inform demand, outcomes and improve the commissioning of services for our most vulnerable residents.

We have four vacancies and are looking for three highly skilled candidates in the performance and intelligence team and one systems development manager in the systems team to lead on Liquidlogic management and development in adults and children's social care.
