About the role
As an investment manager, you will have sole responsibility for setting the detailed strategic asset allocation for the Fund allocating our assets to the investment portfolios provided by the Brunel company and providing practical support to the Wiltshire Fund chairman in the fulfilment of his Brunel monitoring and oversight role.
You will support the investment sub-committee, to enable it to make informed decisions and in delivering best practice financial statements to a wide range of stakeholders.
Key to this role is being a powerful communicator, who can achieve outcomes through building strong relationships with excellent influencing and persuasion skills
You will be an innovator who is confident and credible with senior stakeholders inside and outside of local government along with having significant budget experience, expert understanding of investment strategies and be able to advise, as well as lead on improvement and delivery in a complex, fast paced environment.
