We are looking for a MoD Contracts Manager with SC, experience of MoD travel/MoD Corporate travel, culture change & savings initiative implementation / continuous improvement.
Drive the Army travel programme including behavioural change management, employee education on Travel Policy, content and communications on the impact of non-compliance to the relevant stakeholders in the organisation (budget holders, finance team etc) / Assume full responsibility for identifying and driving new and existing savings opportunities to implementation and lead in negotiation of requirement for the next generation travel contract / Monitor behaviours associated with the implementation of the Army Travel Guidance and Army Travel Tool / Provide the Army with targeted messaging, compliance and MI to deliver meaningful insight and messages to the traveller audience / Act as the Army Corporate Travel Lead, ensure alignment and lead, processes and consistencies on driving performance in consultation with the Intelligent Customer Function as the Contract Manager with the Travel Supplier / Ensure industry innovation and best practice are being identified and applied where possible as continuous improvement / Identify the BAU requirement, assist recruitment and then provide leadership and skills transfer to ensure robust BAU when the role is complete

2. Deliver wave 2 Army Travel initiatives worth estimated £55m
3. Be the intelligent client for the next generation departmental Travel Contract
As well as the specific experience required above you will have the necessary qualifications, skills & experience of a Contracts Manager to take control of this requirement from inception to completion.
