The Emergency Planning and Business Continuity Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Council's Emergency Planning and Business Continuity arrangements.
The Emergency Planning and Business Continuity Service within the Public Services Division of the Customer Services Directorate is the lead service for emergency preparedness, business continuity, response and recovery arrangements. Day-to-day the service coordinates and facilities related activities internally at all levels across the organisation and externally with a wide range of partner organisations.
The service is also responsible for maintaining core elements of the Council tactical and strategic response arrangements including comprehensive on-call arrangements, plans and protocols, emergency vehicle and equipment, and a testing, training and exercising programme.

What we're looking for
We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in the field of Emergency Planning and Business Continuity with management experience.
You will have experience in all aspects of emergency preparedness, business continuity, response and recovery and detailed knowledge of London's Local Authority arrangements.
The ideal candidate will have the skills and ability to work with, motivate and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and partners at all levels.
