Leading a large social care team, this is an exciting opportunity to make sure we are delivering a high quality social care service with positive outcomes that enables adults to live healthily and independently. You will be accountable for individual performance, quality assurance, resources and budgets, as well as developing a training and tactical delivery plan for your team. Part of your role will also be dedicated to working with a Service Manager to contribute to our future strategy and making sure we have a service in place which adapts responsively to change. You will establish and develop effective approaches to integrated working with partners, the local community and the voluntary sector to achieve successful outcomes for service users. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape a ground-breaking approach to adult social care, improve the quality of delivery and achieve positive change for everyone in this important area.
You are a professional Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Nurse with extensive experience, you have a proven ability to focus on results, develop innovative solutions and build strong working relationships with partners. A strong, inspirational leader, you'll be able to show us where you've brought a motivated team together to deliver local objectives at the highest standards. We would also like to see your experience of working within a complex environment and leading cultural and organisational change to best practice. You will also have a deep understanding of working in an extremely challenging financial sector.

Knowledge, skills and experience
- Diploma / Degree in Social Work, CQSW, CSS or equivalent or Diploma of the College of Occupational Therapists or B.Sc. O.T. or other professional qualification recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists
- HCPC registered
- Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing others
- Experience of working on large scale projects that support change
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage your own time
- Evidence of continuing professional development and that you are passionate and driven to support your own continuing personal development (CPD) and that of others
- Ability to engage and influence others within multiple agencies
- Driving licence and car or ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means is essential

The DBS update service ensures all registered DBS certificates are kept up to date and allows authorised parties to view the status of your certificate.
