As a large organisation, we constantly need to ensure our core processes, systems and policies are fit for purpose, now and going forward; performance management is fully embedded across the organisation, supports managers and helps all staff to give their best; online support is streamlined and industrial relations are positive and productive. As the Council's transformation continues apace, we need to fully harness all our talents within an outcome focussed, more entrepreneurial culture.
You could come from any sector, will be CIPD qualified and will bring deep experience of employee relations, HR practice, improving organisational performance and supporting complex organisations through change. You'll embrace innovation when it leads to results and will value the balance between meaningful organisational development and effective HR practice. You'll have excellent political antennae and experience of exercising sound judgement in challenging circumstances at the highest levels. We set the bar high.
