Wrexham County Borough Council is looking for Independent Safeguarding and Reviewing Officers to co-ordinate an effective inter-agency response to children in need of protection and those who are Looked After.
Do you have excellent communication skills, proven experience of working as part of a team, previous experience of working with children as well as a thorough understanding of social work processes and professional codes of practice?
Can you respond to the needs of children and their families, working within statutory guidelines, policies and standards such the Children Act 2004 and the Social Services and Well-being Act 2014?
Our team is integral in driving change and improving standards and as part of it, you will develop and ensure consistent and effective practice, in line with statutory requirements and work in partnership with other agencies.
You must be a registered Social Worker with considerable practice and management experience of providing services to children in need of protection and those looked after by a local authority.
