WHS Marketing and Business Development Officer
The Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape ("Cornish Mining") World Heritage Site is the largest industrial World Heritage Site in the UK, covering 20,000 hectares of internationally important landscapes. Our management organisation, the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site Partnership, ensures that this landscape is protected and conserved for future generations, and that the stories of the people who shaped it are celebrated in partnership with the communities that live there today, through successful public projects and events.
We are seeking a highly motivated marketing and business development officer to take the lead on developing PR & Communications for the Site, and growing commercial, earned and sponsorship income for the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site Partnership. The purpose of the post is to raise awareness of and value for the Cornish Mining brand, and identify and pursue income generating opportunities and relationships. A key part of this will be to develop commercial partnerships with, amongst others, tourism, agriculture, food and drink, creative and digital media, renewable energy businesses, and the education sector.
