Casual Ceremonies Officer
Rutland County Council Casual Ceremonies Officer (4 posts) Scale 5 GBP10.71 per hour Our Ceremonies Team support the statutory duty of the Local Authority, assisting with undertaking of Marriages, Civil Partnerships, as well as Citizenship Ceremonies and other celebratory functions. This role will see you working at licensed premises throughout the County and at the Register Office in Oakham. You will need to be able to work as part of a small team, often at weekends and short notice and bring a sensitive, people-centred focus to the role. Commitment to excellent customer care and oral, written and organisational skills will be key. Hours of work are variable, dependent on ceremony bookings and are likely to be more frequent over the summer period. Successful applicants will be subject to a Basic Disclosure Check.
