Based at County Hall, Beverley for 37 hours per week.
Salary : GBP43,821 (point 49)
Permanent - Full-Time

This exciting new post is part of the Adult Services Management Team. As one of five Area Managers, you will be expected to provide strong leadership, management, advice to support delivery of an effective adult social care service, resulting in good quality care and support for vulnerable adults and carers across the East Riding.

As part of your role you will develop and maintain a range of partnerships which, put people first, seek opportunities to enhance existing assessment and care pathways and make best use of available resources.

As part of your role you will hold a portfolio which will include Care Management Teams and one or more specialist teams including Safeguarding. As part of the senior management team, you will ensure the effective delivery of a range of adult social care services, providing senior level decision making regarding highly complex cases and contribute to the development of key policies, strategies and practice guidance. You will also be responsible for managing performance, quality assurance, resources and budgets.

Effective working relationships with relevant partners are critical to the successful integration of the workforce and your role will be pivotal in building and sustaining robust operational partnerships.
