Sessional Project Worker, Unpaid Work Team (PKC03388)GBP12.45 per hour Westbank House, 17 Jeanfield Road, Perth
The Safer Community Unpaid Work Team form part of the Safer Communities Team and operate from Westbank House, covering the whole of Perth and Kinross area carrying out various projects of Unpaid Work. The successful candidate will manage a team of up to five Clients sentenced to varying numbers of unpaid hours and will have excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Successful applicants will form part of the Safer Communities Team; and will possess leadership and problem solving skills and experience of working with communities to improve their lives. This role may suit someone who is semi-retired or retired.

The Individual
Successful applicant will be computer literate and able to use M.S. Word and Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential when dealing with offenders and the general public alike and high levels of customer satisfaction are a priority. Candidates are expected to be familiar with Data Protection and other appropriate legislation. Qualifications in Health and Safety and First Aid are desirable and successful appointees must be willing to undertake training relevant to the post. You will be a good team player and display a commitment to achieving consistent high standards of work. As an Unpaid Work Project Officer you will possess leadership and problem solving skills and have experience of working with communities to improve their lives
