Housing Officer - Accommodation (Fixed Term)

To be responsible for the management of the Council's direct provision of temporary accommodation and liaison with other providers of temporary accommodation for homeless persons and seeking alternative solutions and new opportunities for such accommodation, where appropriate. Responsible for making and maintaining contact with those housed in temporary accommodation to give appropriate advice and guidance and provide a housing management service to this client base.
This role may require flexible, evening and weekend working.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation
This post requires a Disclosure Check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of this check being deemed satisfactory.
