Based at Abercorn Street Service, 15 Abercorn Street, Paisley, PA3 4AA

You will support and assist individuals with offending behaviour to help resolve their housing problems, work with a range of partners to prevent homelessness occurring in Renfrewshire and assist in developing services for people who are threatened with homelessness.
It is essential you have experience in working with the public or vulnerable individuals, other agencies and services; with a knowledge of homelessness and social housing legislation; options and prevention activities when supporting ex-offenders and multi-agency working eg. Mappa, Marac , Matac. You must have effective verbal and written communication skills, IT, numeracy and letter and report writing skills; with the ability to work with offenders in a controlled environment in an non-judgemental manner. You must have an approachable manner and be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, make decisions, prioritise your workload and demonstrate a genuine interest and understanding of the issues offenders face. You must be able to attend meetings/conferences/seminars outwith normal working hours.

An SVQ Level 2 qualification in Housing or equivalent is desirable.
