This role will be key in shaping and delivering services that enhance the lives of all our residents, but, in particular those that need our help the most, supporting one family at a time.
We are seeking candidates with exceptional energy and a strong desire to work collaboratively with health and social care partners, the voluntary sector and communities help shape and drive our shared delivery of early help and prevention services. Housing is also a key focus area ensuring that our most vulnerable residents have access to appropriate housing and ensuring that we support those threatened with homelessness at the earliest opportunity.
Alongside our early help and prevention approach, you will also drive our Leisure Services to play their part in the health and well-being of our residents while remaining commercially focussed.
Community capacity building is a key strand of our approach. Supporting elected members to fufil their community leadership role, and building community assets are essential elements to our overall approach.
Demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills you will need to have a proven track record of providing inspirational, strategic leadership, together with the ability to set and communicate a clear vision and direction.
