We are looking for an exceptional individual who can demonstrate the breadth of capability, skills and vision to work with and support our Council Executive Team. As a key member of the Council’s Corporate Management Team, the successful candidate will play a strategic leadership role with an expertise in Finance (fulfilling the statutory section 151 responsibility) whilst also facilitating our transformational change programme and focussing on the continuous improvement and effectiveness of service delivery in a challenging financial climate.
You will be a strategic thinker and inspirational leader who will deliver a clear sense of purpose and direction and will easily gain the confidence of Councillors, employees, trade unions, local communities and partner organisations.
