Raglan is a well established Housing Association employing around 400 people and managing over 11,000 homes in Southern England and the Midlands.
We are undergoing exciting changes and over the next 5 years we will transform our property portfolio ensuring it meets the needs of our clients’ in areas where we can deliver best in class service. We are currently a small but committed team but this is the start of a period of growth and an opportunity to get in near the start and benefit from the career progression that should potentially follow.
Our property assets spread geographically over 97 local authority regions from as far afield as Cornwall, Kent and East Lothian and the Asset Management Team is looking to refocus the estate into a smaller number of local authority areas which is more in keeping with our traditional south east base whilst seeking to grow the overall estate to more than 15,000 properties.
This role is of strategic importance and key to the smooth transitional process playing a pivotal role in the success of this strategy and any training required to succeed in this role will be provided.
We are looking for a confident person with excellent communication skills and a high level of numeracy to assist us in developing plans, policies and procedures for our Stock Development Strategy. Essentially, this will mean ensuring we optimise the financial value and use of our properties through redevelopment, rationalisation and disposal.
To be successful, you will need a working knowledge of the legal, financial and marketing of residential properties, including a broad understanding of social housing issues. Good negotiation, influencing and persuading skills will also be required, as will a clean driving licence.
