You’ll take collaborative working to the next level, overseeing commissioning and specialist provision across the service. In this senior management role, you’ll deliver a mix of services that reflects the complex needs of children and families. The person

You’ll need to combine both strategic oversight and in-depth operational understanding as you mobilise communities and external organisations to deliver high-quality services.

With experience in Children and Young People’s Services, you’ll hold a recognised social care qualification. Your background could be in team management or service management. Expertise in commissioning and disability is also desirable but not essential.

Evidence of an ability to lead others and manage change is essential. Capable of planning, designing and managing resources, you’ll also be a skilled communicator, able to negotiate and influence effectively.
