Organisational Development Business Partner
£38,042 - £41,616 per annum
Stafford – with county-wide travel.
If you have the vision and drive to support major transformation, join Staffordshire County Council’s brand new Organisational Development Service.
About the role
In this critical new role, you will be working closely with the Senior Organisational Development Business Partner and provide the key strategic link between Organisational Development (OD) and Council services, working to embed a strategic approach to OD. The key is to partner, coach and support senior managers across the Council, ensuring that all activity is aligned with the overall change agenda. You will be a trusted professional, supporting change management, cultural development and employee engagement through business-focused OD interventions, projects and coaching. You’ll focus particularly on promoting health and wellbeing, so it becomes an integral part of the Council’s culture.
Educated to degree-level (or equivalent), you will be an experienced Organisational Development professional, ideally with training in the field. You have led substantial OD interventions or large-scale transformation programmes, driving organisation-wide cultural change. What’s more, you can analyse business performance; apply OD principles (especially whole systems thinking); and win the respect and confidence of people at all levels. Strong communication skills and commercial acumen will be integral to your success. A catalyst for change with a resilient, future-focused approach, you understand the challenges facing local government. With these talents – plus CIPD membership (or equivalent) – you’ll be capable of leading progress and working in a high-performing matrix environment.
Please note that this role requires county-wide travel.
