Procurement Category Manager – ICT & Facilities Management
In this role you will deliver category management service for the Council in ICT, facilities management and utilities. You will ensure improved service delivery, contract compliance through effective monitoring, sustainable cost improvements and a range of associated benefits to the organisation.
Our client is seeking to appoint bright, creative, passionate and inspiring people to work as part of an expert team to deliver their ambitions for its new approach to leading commissioning support and procurement within its high performing organisation.
You will identify and deliver innovative procurement solutions that provide cashable savings and process efficiencies for the organisation. Forward planning of all strategic (£½m+) contracting, to better meet business need.
A key part of this role is to provide strategic market intelligence and understanding in relation to the contract including assessing market developments in relation to service delivery models and / or prevailing market conditions.
You will analyse category spend, budgets, income, expenditure and any other area of interest assembling data to form the baseline to inform procurement strategy and priorities within the category.
