Pembrokeshire County Council is an all-purpose local authority serving a community of 118,000. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be accountable for the management and performance of a portfolio of Council services, focusing primarily on those in the social care sphere. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the Council’s strategy for those services, in response to the challenge of changing needs and resources, working in close collaboration with partner organisations.
We seek an energetic and accomplished senior manager, attuned to working corporately at a strategic level, capable of leading services through the next phases in their development. You will need substantial, broad-based experience of operating in a complex environment, and be equipped to make a full contribution to the management of our organisation.
The Council may wish to consider a joint appointment with the Local Health Board.
