The Council are looking to recruit a Senior Client Side Manager to support the Head of Financial Reporting and Projects in establishing, developing and managing the day to day relationship between the Council's Service Units and the contracted out financial services to ensure the anticipated outcomes of the Partnership are successfully delivered. You will need to be a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and have experience of managing finance functions within either the public or private sector. Project and programme management are a key aspect of this role and you will need to have experience of working at project board level.
The post is also responsible for ensuring that there is a consistent approach to identifying the benefits that are realised by the implementation of the transformation programme across all projects, auditing the veracity of benefits within business cases, tracking benefit achievement and ensuring the effective budget management for the overall Partnership is well maintained. Communications and relationship management skills will also be required, gained either through work experience or formal training.
