Working with our existing Landfill Officer you will jointly lead on the long term management and development of the closed landfill sites across East Sussex. This is a varied role within our Waste Team, involving operational and strategic responsibilities covering monitoring, maintenance and design, as well as complex project management involving consultants and contractors.
You will be self-motivated, a clear thinker and have excellent organisational skills. You will need to interpret complex scientific and technical information and translate this into practical recommendations for landfill management. You will have demonstrable technical proficiency in a relevant subject area and a degree level qualification in a related subject, or equivalent skills or experience.
